2023 Pitch

Funds Raised: $55,620

Founder, Tahina pitched to raise money and support for their 10 Million Strong Program. Which is a leadership program designed to spark students' enthusiasm for learning about gender equality and cultivating active citizenship in their own communities through sport-based programming. They use interactive activities as a platform to introduce new ideas, encouraging the students to become compassionate leaders who understand where their beliefs originate from, and ultimately help alter negative attitudes towards violence against women. The project is a first in Papua New Guinea and is designed to specifically suit Papua New Guinean culture and society. Overall, the program aim is for the students to gain the confidence to be part of a culture of respect and safety.
