The Biography Program
Enabling people in aged care to write their life stories.
The Biography Program supports volunteer biographers to facilitate the story-telling process as a means to celebrate, honour, affirm and validate the unique and rich lives of the elders in our community. The biography is a book of the client's life, told in their own words, and assembled by the volunteer biographer. However, the service is more than just what can be held in the hand. Its real value is in creating a space for personal reflection for the older client.

Funds raised: $15,950
The Biography Program got involved in TFN's 2013 pilot series and raised $15,950 to continue building programs that enable people in aged care to write their life stories.
