Worthy Cause is a social enterprise based in Melbourne that offers a life-changing employment program to people who have endured severe hardships and marginalisation. Through their program, participants learn all the skills, tools and experiences needed to build the life they deserve.
2024 Pitch
Funds Raised: $50,100
Rick pitched for funding to be able to employ more people into their employment program. The funds will allow Worthy Cause to increase the impact and reach of their program for the countless vulnerable people in the community crying out for help no one else will offer. The participants work 8-20 hours a week (depending on their ability and stage of their program) and earn above the award rate. This would allow their program to employ approx. 4 additional participants.
